INTRO TO TOP ROPE BELAY CLASS

At the end of this class you will:

• Know how to use a harness and belay device

• Be able to tie in with a figure 8 follow-through, plus a fisherman's backup

• Belay using a locking carabiner and ATC to confidently keep your climbing partner safe

• Know how to communicate with your climbing partner

Must be 14 years or older to participate!

INTRODUCTION TO TOP ROPE BELAY IS A ONE TIME CLASS FOR BEGINNERS LOOKING TO TAKE THE FIRST STEPS TO GET INTO TOP ROPE CLIMBING, OR CLIMBERS NEEDING TO REFRESH THEIR SKILLS.
