Route Setting

The Route Setting team at MetroRock Littleton, known for its consistent turnover and wide-ranging expertise, creates an environment where climbers of all ages and abilities find inspiration and challenge.

For newcomers, the team creates routes and boulders that are both approachable and enjoyable, helping to build confidence and develop fundamental skills. Meanwhile, experienced climbers are met with inventive and thrilling challenges that push the limits of their abilities and keep the sport exciting and innovative.

Jon Brock, our Director of Route setting, oversees the process at all of our locations while Littleton Head Setter Aaron Ziller leads his team in day-to-day route setting, focusing on creating engaging climbs for the gym. We like to stay current with the latest sets of holds and volumes, and invite you to come and check out our boulders and routes regularly to see what’s new.

The Littleton route setting crew is made up of a talented group of individuals: Head Setter Aaron Ziller (AMZ), along with Nick Orange (NDO), Adam Forest (AJF), Peter Reed (PER), and Steph Chaddock (STEPH). Each member of the team brings their unique skills and experience to the table, contributing to the creation of diverse and exciting climbs.
