INTRODUCTION TO TOP ROPE BELAY IS A ONE TIME CLASS FOR BEGINNERS LOOKING TO TAKE THE FIRST STEPS TO GET INTO TOP ROPE CLIMBING!

At the end of this class you will:

  • Know how to use a harness and belay device

  • Be able to tie in with a figure 8 follow-through, plus a fisherman's backup

  • Belay using a locking carabiner and ATC to confidently keep your climbing partner safe

  • Know how to communicate with your climbing partner

INTRO TO BOULDERING TECHNIQUE CLASS

INTRODUCTION TO BOULDERING IS A ONE-TIME ENTRY LEVEL CLASS FOR NEW OR FIRST TIME CLIMBERS!

At the end of this class you will:

  • Know how to utilize the bouldering areas

  • Understand safety & etiquette standards

  • Be familiar with climbing movements, concepts, & common vocabulary
