Competition Team

(Ages 13+)

Monday’s and Thursday’s from 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Competition Team is designed to prepare athletes for success at USAC Qualifying Events and performance goals at Regional Championships.

This program prepares athletes for the demands of USAC Qualifying Events and Regional Championships by building a strong foundation of technical ability, physical preparation, and competition readiness. Training follows a progressive structure, with practices increasing in intensity and complexity throughout the season.

Athletes will participate in skill stations, technique drills, strength and conditioning, mock competitions, and mental performance training designed to improve movement quality, physical capacity, confidence, and the ability to perform under competition conditions.

The Competition Team provides a focused and supportive environment where athletes learn the value of commitment, teamwork, goal setting, and consistent effort. Coaches work with athletes to develop strong training habits, provide meaningful feedback, and foster a positive relationship with both practice and competition. Through purposeful training and continued growth, athletes build the tools needed to compete with confidence and continue advancing within the program.

Athletes interested in joining the Competition Team Must:

  • Be working toward performance goals at USAC Regional Championships

  • Have a solid foundation of climbing movement and technique

  • Have climbing as their primary sport during the competition season

  • Be able to commit to regular practice attendance for the entire season (September - May)

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, responsiveness to feedback, and a willingness to work hard and support teammates

Pricing

This program is billed on the 1st of each month. Membership is included in pricing.

$340/month

  • 6 hours of coaching per week

  • 1:6 Coach to Athlete Ratio

  • 1 One-Hour Private Lesson with a coach of your choosing each month

  • Coaching at USA Climbing Events

Join The Team

Placement on the Competition Team is based on Athlete Assessments and coach recommendations. Assessments help coaches understand each athlete’s skill level, training readiness, and goals to ensure they are placed in the program environment where they can be challenged, supported, and continue to grow.
