Competition Team is suited to athletes who want to focus their training toward competition preparation.
Athletes on this team must have a significant amount of prior climbing experience and should be mentally and physically ready to train to perform at their highest level within the sport.
Athletes on this team are required to spend considerable time lead climbing (rather than top-roping), bouldering and addressing their areas for growth within the sport. Competition Team athletes are required to have competition goals in at least one discipline. Athletes are expected to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and excited to train to perform at the highest level of climbing they are capable of.
Practices will be focused on:
Focused Skill Development: Our program provides targeted training to help athletes refine their technique, build strength, and improve their climbing strategy. We emphasize skill progression and movement literacy to prepare them for competition at the regional level and beyond.
Competition Preparation: We prepare our climbers for competitions by simulating real event conditions in practice. This includes strategy sessions, mock competitions, and mental preparation to help them perform their best under pressure.
Personalized Coaching: Each climber receives guidance tailored to their individual strengths and areas for improvement. We work closely with each athlete to set personal goals, track progress, and celebrate achievements.
Team Spirit and Support: Our team environment fosters a sense of camaraderie and mutual encouragement. Climbers learn the value of teamwork, support each other through challenges, and share in the excitement of competition.
Diverse Climbing Experiences: Participants have the opportunity to engage in a variety of climbing styles, including bouldering and lead climbing. This variety helps climbers build a well-rounded skill set and stay motivated.
