Top rope manager
A full day course designed to teach the foundational concepts of building and managing top rope anchor systems. Participants will learn to build safe, easy to use top rope systems utilizing both fixed protection & natural features.
learning outcomes
Understand the principles of a SERENE anchor
Confidently tie the bowline knot, clove hitch, and assorted bight knots
Apply SERENE anchor principles to bolted anchors and natural features
Ability to build quad, v - rig, and monolith anchors
Know how to set both the climber and belayer up for success
pre-requisites
MetroRock top rope belay certification, or ability to demonstrate proper belay technique
Outdoor top rope climbing experience is a plus
